About the Program

The B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering at Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur, West Bengal, is a four-year undergraduate program designed to build strong foundations in core mechanical engineering principles and modern industrial technologies. The curriculum covers key subjects such as Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Engineering Mechanics, Machine Design, Manufacturing Technology, Heat Transfer, and Industrial Engineering. The program integrates theoretical knowledge with practical laboratory sessions, workshop training, computer-aided design (CAD), and project-based learning to ensure students gain hands-on experience aligned with current industry standards.
